Let’s admit it, cookies are wonderful and everyone likes them. The problem with them is that if you eat too much they can cause damage like increased sugar levels in your blood and increased risks for becoming overweight. They will also damage your teeth. Nevertheless, cookies are delicious and for this reason, we will present you a cookie recipe based on the coconut.
First of all, read the ingredients needed for approximately 18 cookies:
- One teaspoon of cinnamon.
- One teaspoon of vanilla.
- One and a half cup of coconut peels.
- One-quarter cup of sunflower seeds (you can also use nuts).
- Two tablespoons of coconut oil.
- Half a cup of high-quality protein powder.
- One-eighth cup of water.
Let’s go to the preparation method:
First of all, you should preliminary heat your oven at 150-degree Celsius. In the meantime, while your oven is heating, you can chop up the seeds or nuts. Make sure to mix well the ingredients in a bowl and add a spoon of coconut oil and water if the mixture is too crumbly. Use a measuring jug to make cookies the same size. Put and flatten the uncooked cookies on a platter. Let the platter in the oven for some 15 minutes.
Supplementary preparation advice:
Instead of the sunflower seeds, you can also use coconut shreds. If you want to taste a different flavor then you can add flavored protein. Make sure to add good-quality flavored protein. Last, you can also prepare coconut whipped cream and accompany the cookies with it. I am now going to prepare some by myself because I cannot stand to explain it and not to taste it!
